At Vaccination Point, we are looking for a medical telephonist(e) to join our team. As a medical telephone operator(e), you will be responsible for answering incoming telephone calls from patients and providing medical information and travel advice. You will work closely with our doctors and nurses to ensure that patients are assisted quickly and professionally to be able to travel. Availability for 32 to 40 hours per week.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming and outgoing patient phone calls and providing medical information and travel advice
  • Registering patient data and making appointments in our appointment system
  • Referring patients to the appropriate department or specialist
  • Support our doctors and nurses with administrative tasks
  • Maintaining patient records and providing medical information to patients upon request
  • Ensuring a professional and friendly telephone service to our patients

Job requirements:

  • Minimum MBO work and thinking level
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience in a similar position is a plus
  • Medical background (e.g. doctor's assistant or carer)
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Good computer and typing skills
  • Customer-oriented attitude and stress resistance
