Our rates
The amount you pay for your appointment at Vaccination Point consists of:
- Consultation fees - Travel advice is shared with you in advance at most locations (the advice is not optional)
- Vaccine costs
- Prescription costs (if applicable for medication)
- Repeat consultation fee (if you need to come back several times for a series of vaccines)
In addition, you may pay for the purchase of a vaccination booklet.
The cost of the consultation depends on your health insurance. If you pay yourself, in many cases this is done directly on site or afterwards via iDEAL. Whether your health insurer will reimburse (part of) the consultation and vaccinations depends on your policy conditions. You can obtain information about this from your insurer or consult them via this webpage.
If you are unexpectedly unable to attend, we kindly ask you to cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance cancel via [email protected]. For your convenience, you can also respond to your appointment confirmation e-mail.
Appointments that are not cancelled on time will be regarded as no show charged. Insurance does not cover these costs.
Note:
Once you have received medical travel advice from us, a consultation fee will always be charged. This also applies if it turns out during the consultation that no vaccinations are needed, or if you cancel the appointment after the advice has been given.
This is because Vaccination Point assesses your case and provides professional medical advice in all cases.

Consultations
About consultation fees
Our consultation costs be per capita calculated, regardless of the number of vaccinations you receive. The same applies for prescription costs (e.g. for malaria tablets or other travel medicine). Ditto if you need a malaria prescription afterwards, you will pay prescription and consultation fees.
Consultation fees are there because your appointment includes more than just putting a vaccine. During a consultation:
- Do you receive (online) a personal medical travel advice, tailored to your destination, health and duration of travel.
- Will there be time reserved to answer your questions and go over any medical details.
- We register your details in our medical record and process the necessary administration.
These costs are separate from the price of the vaccinations themselves and similar to other medical consultations. They are often (partly) reimbursed at Vaccination Point from supplementary health insurance. View reimbursements per insurer here.
