Getting started as a nurse in Maastricht
As a nurse at Vaccination Point, you will be the first point of contact for travellers at our Maastricht location. You perform consultations independently, give expert travel advice and administer vaccinations. As this is preventive care, you work with healthy and often enthusiastic people who are preparing for their trip.
You will work independently, but be part of a professional and committed medical team of travel medicine doctors, nurses and medical support staff. Depending on your availability, you can work between 16 and 40 hours a week.
This is what you will do
- Independently conduct traveller consultations
- Administering vaccinations according to LCR guidelines
- Advising on health risks and prevention while travelling
- Answering medical and practical questions
- Maintaining and processing medical records
- Ensuring a professional and customer-friendly experience
- Collaborating with colleagues within the medical team

We are looking for you when you...
- Possess an MBO or HBO nursing degree and are BIG-registered;
- Affinity with traveller vaccinations (experience would be a plus);
- Good ability to move quickly and cope with adhoc work;
- Customer-friendliness is important and puts people at ease;
- Work accurately, be discreet and able to work independently;
- Be able to provide a VOG;
- Be available 16-40 hours per week, by arrangement.
